How to Vote
Voting in the Richmond Hill municipal election is simple and convenient. Residents may vote online or in person during the official voting period.

Online Voting Period: October 20–26, 2026
Online voting is expected to be available throughout the voting period beginning October 20, 2026.
Most Richmond Hill residents choose to vote online because it is fast, secure, and convenient.
Eligible voters will receive voting information directly from the City of Richmond Hill before voting begins.
🗳️ In-Person Voting
Election Day: October 26, 2026
Polling Hours: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Early In-Person Voting: October 24 and 25, 2026
Early Voting Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Residents may vote in person at designated Richmond Hill voting locations during the election period.
Additional details regarding voting locations and polling stations will be provided by the City of Richmond Hill closer to the election.
